Great electroacoustic, concrete, acousmatic music. Quiet ambient, but sometimes thrilling and dark.

In November 2019 we drove slightly west for a weekend of concerts. Friday we played at the Co-Opt Research+Projects in Lubbock (TX), Llano Estacado Monad Band opened the night with an awesome performance. Saturday we played Blo Back Gallery in Pueblo (CO), Bob Marsh played before us, a masterful set of cello improvisations. Sunday, The Desert House in Albuquerque (NM); Heather Trost played a lovely set before us, Steve Jansen closed the night in meticulous unhinged fashion. Monday we drove straight back to Denton and Mesquite, while on route we got a phone call from Aaron Gonzalez if we were interested in playing Outward Bound Mixtape Sessions, would have loved to, but there was no way we would make it on time.
We would like to thank once more all the people who made this weekend such a beautiful experience. Super thanks to Andrew Weathers, Gretchen Korsmo, Bob Marsh, Steve Jansen and Erin Hansbrough.

It seems not tremendously often that a more or less unique black metal band comes along, especially one this unique sounding. Sure, i hear some similarities to a handful of greats but i also hear something quite unlike any other black metal album i’m familiar with, and i love it a lot! tl:dr ffo avant-black-metal 🖤 Princess Haultaine III

Lovely guitar-based songs with melodies that occasionally hint toward a slack-key, all with a touch of tender melancholy. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 22, 2023
